Sink or Swim ARC Review

This. Book. Is. Amazing. Jamie Canosa's sequel to Fight or Flight is just as amazing and toasting-with-cheesecake-worthy as Fight or Flight itself! The trials, the fights, the tears, I was immersed in this book from word one.

When sleeping in vacant warehouses and dark alleys becomes preferable to living at home, something is seriously wrong. But when word reaches Allie that her mother is facing a life threatening illness, she has no choice but to return to the place of nightmares. Leaving wasn't a choice, it was a necessity, and if returning hadn't been equally necessary, Allie never would have set foot back inside that hell-hole.
Dean is no stranger to hardship, but the day Allie walked out of his life, taking his heart right along with her, was hands-down the most frustrating. Six months later, she's back and Dean refuses to rest until he figures out exactly what the hell happened.
Now, Allie's drowning. Drowning in lies. Drowning in the truth. Drowning in pain, and anger, and fear. But there comes a time when every drowning person must decide whether they will . . . Sink or Swim?

Jamie Canosa has created such an amazing book, I proposed to it. Nope, not just Dean, the book. The wedding is in the winter. You are all invited :P

Allie has been on the streets for the last six months, running from her fathers fists. But when she learns her mother is dying, she knows she has to return home. Only there, nothing's changed. Her father is still angry, her mother is still helpless, and Dean still makes her heart race.

Now. Holy hell on chocolate cheesecake. Dean is just... Dean. Having Allie disappear for six months out of the blue ripped him a new one, but now she's back, and he's not exactly subtle about the fact he wants her back... and he's so sweet! He's bossy - which means his and Allie's stubbornness butt heads a lot, yay! - but he means well, he cares for his family, he loves powerfully, and his love for Allie just makes me the teensiest bit jealous - me want Dean! Mine!

Jamie Canosa has written an amaaazing sequel to Fight or Flight and you should really be getting this book - like now!
